This week we introduced Adaptation of Animals, based on their habitat. Children viewed ocean animals during a virtual visit . We also discussed the evolution of man and the invention of fire. Students did writing practice of blending words, digraphs ch, sh,th, and ph words in language. We revised Long and short vowels too. For high tea children made teddy bear faces with edible food items that were available at home.In art, children drew handprints of giraffes and coloured them.
On Friday the school visit day -children explored Montessori materials and developed their math and language skills with the help of large number cards and the pink scheme cards for sentence writing. It was a hybrid class as kids who couldn't attend the physical classroom, attended online. Students thoroughly enjoyed their visit.
