This Week the students learnt about Celebrations. Celebrations about Birthdays, Anniversaries and Festivals. We all discussed different festivals that come throughout the year. National Festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanti were also mentioned discussed.
For National Symbols and National Monuments like Taj Mahal information was shared and revised. Students learnt letter 'f' formation and the beginning sound too In numbers we learned 6 and 7. Rote counting 1-30 is enjoyed by all. Students also learnt a 2 D Shape Pentagon and showed real world objects in the Pentagon shape and our student cut the bread in a Pentagon shape too. How creative!! Value Education was imparted through stories. We shared the story about Barshim and Tamberi sharing the Gold at the 2020 Olympics
In art and craft, We made an Origami Lotus flower which is our National Flower. We also made flowers using play dough and it was a great experience to see so many beautiful flowers created by our dear Roses' little fingers. Great Going, Junior Kg class!!
