Sunny yellows are cheerful hues, the colour of warmth and spring. The Yellow
Sunflower is one of the 4 flowers designated to each of the classes at Beaumont.
Students of Toddler and Nursery were very happy to celebrate Yellow Colour Day. The
Yellow Sunflower is after all the class flower of Nursery. We learned the significance of the
Yellow colour. Students wore yellow coloured clothes and presented their yellow objects to
the class. They excitedly made a Yellow Fish Puppet for our craft activity, and showed their
happiness by singing a song for Yellow Day!
Junior KG kids learned the significance of the Yellow colour and students shared their yellow
coloured objects. We also did an Art activity - Fork painting of Sunflowers.
SKG Kids participated enthusiastically and presented their yellow toys/clothes/food. They
were overjoyed to celebrate this colour day as yellow represents, happiness, optimism,
enlightenment, creativity, sunshine and spring.
