Children acquired new ideas in maths- division and revised the fundamentals of all math operations during the third week of March. Children participated in an experiment wherein they collected waste from their lunch boxes, such as foil paper, tissue paper, food waste, banana peels, and orange peels. This waste was deposited in a pot. In the coming weeks we will observe the same to get first hand information about decomposition. This will aid in learning about hazardous, biodegradable, and non-biodegradable waste. Making the most of trash was fun for kids. They used a cake foundation to create a lovely wall hanging and added a pen organizer and pistachio shells for decoration. We had a productive week.
