Republic Day Celebrations

26th January is celebrated as the Republic Day of India. On this day the constitution of India which was written by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar came into force.

At Beaumont We began the Republic Day celebrations with a march past, after which we assembled outside for the flag ceremony. We learned about the significance of this day and sang the national anthem.

Apart from the above activities-
Nursery students viewed patriotic videos and songs and learned about the freedom fighters and the Father of the nation

Junior KG students viewed videos of Republic Day celebrations and enjoyed drawing and colouring the National flag.

Senior KG students viewed drills for the Kartvaya Path Parade and Stunts Parade by the Indian Army. They also created beautiful drawings of India Gate and the National flag, made cards to commemorate this day and enjoyed playing an Aiming game.

Everyone was dressed in the colours of the National Flag and it was a sight to behold.

All of us celebrated Republic Day with great fervour and enthusiasm.
