We introduced, and discussed about, the winter season and did various crafts related
to the same, such as making mittens and snowmen. We introduced the letter sound “c”
to the children and by the end of the week, we revised the letter sounds “a-c.” In the
area of Mathematics, the students practiced numbers 1-3/5. The students also stayed in
touch with the Sensorial Area through knobbed cylinders, and with the Practical Life
Area by utilising play dough and squeezing and releasing a sponge. One of the most
exciting activities the students experienced in this week was the “Tornado In a Bottle”
experiment. As usual, the children enjoyed presenting their Show and Tell and
attending their Specialist Classes. It was a productive week.
