This week students of Toddler and Nursery were introduced to the sense of smell
and sense of taste by doing various activities. They are all learning their letter
sounds too. They are also exploring practical life activities like carrying a glass of
coloured water and using a chair to sit and then push back. Students of Toddler and
Nursery are thoroughly enjoying our art and craft activities.
With great enthusiasm, all the students celebrated 'Hindi Diwas', We talked about
the importance of Hindi an official language of our country. Students and teachers
sang rhymes and songs in Hindi and interacted in Hindi for some time. We also
played a few Hindi rhymes for our students. It was indeed a wonderful celebration!
Students were very excited to also celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. We showed them the videos
of Lord Ganesh. We made Lord Ganesh idols out of play dough and coconut laddoos for our
High Tea. Students relished them with their parents. We began moulding by seeking the
Lord's blessings and ended with an aarti. It was indeed a Fruitful Day and week!
