After a short winter break, students were happy to be back. They shared their vacation anecdotes and also drew their observations. This week students were introduced to the theme of the month 'Community Helpers'. Students learned a new letter sound 'p' through Jolly Phonics songs, sandpaper letters and PPT. They enjoyed painting the community helper -'Policeman'. Students thoroughly enjoyed doing cosmic yoga. Students explored new Practical Life activities such as Dressing Frame (set 2- Buttoning) and Pegs and Basket. This week we also made a Kite as a craft activity and explored - Makar Sankranti, Lohri and Pongal the three festivals that are celebrated on the same day that is 14th January. It was an amazing week!
