Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September.
In the JKG class Hindi Diwas was celebrated by discussing the importance of this
official national language in our daily life. Students recited rhymes like Lakdi ki Kathi,
Machli Jal ki Rani hai, few students introduced themselves in the Hindi language,
and mentioned general words used in the daily conversations. Many students stated
that they use the Hindi language to speak with their grandparents, extended
families and helpers.
We greeted each other in Hindi with "Shubh Prabhat" instead of Good Morning!!
Students enjoyed their time speaking in Hindi and it was a fun and learning
experience too.
Apart from this we also learnt 2D shapes such as Heptagon and Octagon. We are
exploring our five senses and learnt about pleasant and unpleasant smells.
In Math, we learnt new concepts such as number which comes in between, after and
before.
