Roses have learnt quite a lot about the community workers like Dentists, bakers, chefs, Doctors, Dry Cleaners, Teachers, Principal etc They also took a virtual visit to a restaurant, dentist’s clinic and a bakery.
Our young minds are writing at great speed and with good handwriting the numbers, letters and cvc words. They also learned the sight word 'is', framed and wrote short sentences. Good Going, Roses!!
We were glad to have guest speakers- our parents speaking about their profession. Ms Aditi Pathak, volunteered to speak in her capacity as an Architect. She gave a glimpse of the tools used and the work of an architect. Ms Gunajn Madan, a lawyer by studies and a baker by profession, gave a demo of how to make cookies and the tools used. She also gave a tour of her bakery and showed the different ovens and refrigerators used for baking and the beautiful crockery used for plating the goodies. Students asked many relevant questions to our guest speakers. This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone in the class to learn about the jobs done at the respective workplace. We appreciate the time given by the guest speakers and for providing a worthwhile experience to our students.
