Junior KG has commenced with the new theme 'Plant Kingdom, Food and Nutrition' and they are busy exploring it by growing indoor plants and discussing their observations every day. Apart from that they are also learning about different fruits, and need to know the answers to so many questions What is the colour? Are the seeds edible? Do we need to peel the skin? or we can eat the fruit with the skin? and Where does it grow?
We undertook a virtual Field Trip to Heritage Garden-Powai. Students wore their cap/hat and held onto their water bottles and explored the garden virtually.
We also enjoyed making a 'Fruit Salad' and relished the yummy meal with our peers and teachers.
JKG also has many artists. Children loved painting- Vincent Van Gogh's- 'Sunflowers.
