In the second working week of January, we welcomed 2 guest speakers (parents) in connection with our theme 'Community Helpers'
On day 1 we had Mrs. Narang (mother of Yuvaan Narang-SKG) who was our guest speaker, in her capacity as a lawyer. We had a very interactive session with Mrs. Narang who spoke at length about her roles and responsibilities as a lawyer. She was dressed in her lawyer's robes and also narrated her work experiences. The session ended with a lovely rhyme -A Lawyer. Children asked many questions which were answered very articulately by ma'am.
On day 2 we had Mrs. Madan (mother of Zoey Madan- SKG) who was our guest speaker, in her capacity as a Pastry Chef. Mrs Madan spoke about her work at length along with an interesting video which provided information about the implements and ingredients used in making pastries. This session too had our young inquirers asking many questions and thus adding to their knowledge. Later in the day, we savoured the yummy cookies that Mrs Madan had so lovingly baked and got along for all of us.
Both the sessions were very informative, enabling our students to add on to their knowledge and understanding.
