2nd October is a very significant day in our country's calendar. This is the birth anniversary of the founder of our nation, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or Bapuji as we fondly call him.
We celebrate this day every year at Beaumont, children also get to explore our country's history and freedom struggle.
Toddler and Nursery students, viewed videos about Gandhiji, the three Monkeys and also a powerpoint presentation about the life of our Bapuji. Students also coloured Gandhiji's Charkha.
Junior KG students got to learn about the life of Mahatma Gandhi and viewed Mahatma Gandhi’s childhood and school pictures. Students also viewed a video related to Gandhiji’s three monkeys and played a game “see no evil , speak no evil and hear no evil using (masks, headphones and sunglasses) kids thoroughly enjoyed playing the game. They also painted Gandhiji’s picture.
SKG students celebrated Gandhi Jayanti by drawing their understanding of the importance of doing their work independently and keeping their environment clean. They also learnt about the virtues of honesty and nonviolence through the videos shown.
