Diwali is one the most famous and the biggest festivals of India. This festival is celebrated in the memory of Lord Rama who returned to Ayodhya after fourteen years of exile. To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, JKG had a celebration by showing kids a puppet show by which kids understood- What is Diwali? Why is Diwali celebrated? and how do we celebrate Diwali? Children also shared how they celebrate Diwali every year. Teachers explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.
We also viewed the story- ‘Let’s celebrate Diwali’.
Both -JKG Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations enthusiastically.
