Diwali Celebrations

Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated all over India and in many parts of the world. The name ‘Deepavali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’.

Toddler and Nursery class celebrated Diwali by colouring the Diya worksheet. Students saw a video about Diwali celebrations. They also shared how they celebrate the festival of lights, the sweets they like to eat and how they help their mothers’ with the Diwali preparations.

Our boys were dressed in Kurta Pajamas and girls in traditional dress or party frocks. It was a lovely atmosphere, with the kids beckoning the festival of Lights with their brightest smiles.

We wished our Students and Parents " A Happy and Safe Diwali."

To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, JKG had a celebration by presenting to the kids a puppet show titled-Why is Diwali celebrated? and How do we celebrate Diwali? . Teachers explained the importance of Diwali. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. Children decorated diyas with colors and paints.

Both JKG Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.

SKG kids enthusiastically celebrated Diwali, which is a celebration of light and love. Children enjoyed decorating diyas, talking about their Diwali vacation plans and playing scavenger hunt.

Wishing everyone A Happy and Prosperous Diwali!!!
