Children's Day or Bal Diwas is celebrated across the country on November 14. The day marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India.
At Beaumont we celebrated Children's Day on 15th November, when school reopened after the Diwali Break.
Toddler & Nursery students had great fun, all the students were excited and happy to celebrate this day. We celebrated Children's Day by learning the significance and importance of this day. We played a few games. For our Friendship Flower activity each student wrote the name of their classmates on a flower petal and made a friendship flower. Everyone enjoyed watching a short Peppa Pig movie. It was an amazing day!
Junior KG kids were very excited about Children's Day. We played songs and viewed videos of Chacha Nehru. For Hi Tea JKG students made Pin Wheel sandwiches, using bread and jam. All of us relished the sandwiches it was yumm!!
Senior KG Kids celebrated children's Day with great zeal and zest, Kids learned the significance and values of children’s day, we had a fun filled day, Kids viewed funny videos, created colourful Panda Face masks and played fun games-Animal Riddles. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
