The exchange programme between Beaumont and the Japanese School is a much awaited annual event
This year too we had many exciting engagements planned. The event commenced with a Japanese Greeting song- Ohayoo, melodiously sung by the students of Junior KG. The Japanese students addressed us next, spoke a few lines in Japanese and then effortlessly translated the same in English. Toddler and Nursery students then took over with their energetic action songs. followed by a round of Yoga. The Principals of both the schools later addressed the gathering and extolled the virtues of the Student Exchange Programme. The Senior KG students, later along with their Japanese counterparts created individual flower bouquets, an apt art and craft takeaway for our overjoyed Japanese friends. At the end we played the Japanese and Indian National anthems, it was amazing to see the Japanese students singing our national anthem so confidently.
It was a very engaging event.
Here’s to spreading the spirit of International Mindedness, through these cultural visits.
