On Friday 20th Jan 2023, the students of Beaumont undertook a field trip to Meluha The Fern and Rodas- Ecotel Hotels, in our neighbourhood. This trip was in connection with the theme Community Helpers.
Through this trip our students were able to experience firsthand the work that the community helpers - Chefs and Bakers do. During their tour of the hotel our learners visited the kitchen, and were delighted to walk into the 'walk in refrigerator' . They saw the busy chefs and bakers at work. The array of yummy pastries and various other baked items in the bakery was quite amazing too, along with the gigantic oven used to make these items.
We presented a Thank You card to the staff for a tour of their workplace, which greatly added to our learning.
The yummy complimentary treats were enjoyed by all, once back at school.
We are very thankful to the Management and Staff of Meluha and Rodas for this amazing field trip.
